A sad father goes on a long drive, trying to get connected with his son. He talks about him not getting along with his wife, about him being desperate to meet the son. Towards the end, he tells the son that he has always had best memories of his son.

माथि उल्लेख भएको every other को अर्थ समय बिराएर हुन्छ। जस्तै, एक दिन बिराएर भन्न every other day भन्नुपर्छ, हप्ता बिराएर भन्न every other week भन्नुपर्छ, महिना बिराएर भन्न every other month भन्नुपर्छ।
if I had it my way को अर्थ मेरो तरिकाले/बसमा हुँदो हो त हुन्छ। जस्तैः
मेरो तरिकाले हुँदो हो त म उसलाई निम्तो नै दिने थिइनँ। If I had it my way, I wouldn’t invite her.
मेरो बसमा हुँदो हो त म काम छोडिदिने थिएँ। If I had it my way, I would quit the job.

Get along भनेको मिल्नु हुन्छ। जस्तै,
I and my son get along well.
Mr. and Mrs. Rai did not get along. So they got divorced.

माथिको (I) wonder why अति नै उपयोगी संरचना हो। यसको अर्थ “किन होला” हुन्छ। जस्तै, किन ऊ रुन्छे होली- I wonder why she cries.
मेरो मित्रले मलाई किन त्यागो होला- I wonder why my friend gave up on me.
Why को ठाउँमा where/when/what time/how often आदि पनि प्रयोग गर्न सकिन्छ।
जस्तै, माथिको उदाहरणमा रहेको count the days (पर्खिएर बस्नु) प्रयोग गरेर एउटा वाक्य बनाउँदाः म कत्तिको तिमीलाई भेट्न पर्खिएर बस्छु होला- I wonder how often I count the days to meet you.

माथि उल्लिखित see through my eyes को अर्थ मेरो नजरबाट हेर्नु हुन्छ भने There was no other way को अर्थ विकल्प थिएन हुन्छ। mistake someone/something for someone/something को अर्थ भने कुनै व्यक्ति/कुरालाई अर्को व्यक्ति/कुरा ठान्नु हुन्छ। माथिको लिरिक्समा “तर छोरा, मलाई बाल दिने मान्छे नठान” भनिएको छ। अन्य उदाहरणहरूः

The years go flying by भनेको थाहै नपाइ समय बित्नु, बूढो हुनु हो भने cherish भनेको प्यारो ठान्नु हो। We cherish the childhood days. र अन्त्यमा cross someone’s mind भनेको झल्याँस्स याद आउनु हो। जस्तै, It crossed my mind yesterday that you loved me. हिजो मलाई तिमीले मलाई माया गर्छौँ भन्ने कुरा झल्याँस्स याद आयो। माथिको If I ever cross your mind को अर्थ भने म कहिल्यै तिम्रो स्मरणमा आएँ भने हुन्छ।
